David Chua serves as Managing Partner at The Post Oak Group, where he leads the firm’s mergers and acquisitions practice across the middle market, overseeing sell-side and buy-side mandates, strategic combinations, recapitalizations, and complex transaction execution. Chua brings decades of experience in private equity, investment strategy, and financial structuring, with a long track record of guiding companies through high-value transactions across diverse industries.

Prior to joining The Post Oak Group, Chua served as Head of Investment and Research at Citi, where he directed investment strategy, transaction analysis, and market diligence, experience that strengthened his ability to evaluate opportunities, structure deals, and manage efficient M&A processes. He also held leadership roles at several top-tier investment firms, specializing in growth equity, leveraged buyouts, and operational value creation for portfolio companies. Chua’s background includes extensive work sourcing investment opportunities, leading due diligence efforts, and executing strategic initiatives that maximize value for investors and stakeholders.

Chua holds a distinguished academic background and continues to play a key role in shaping the firm’s M&A strategy and execution capabilities.

Jennifer York-Cornick serves as Chief Human Resources Officer of The Post Oak Group, providing senior-level leadership across human capital governance, employment compliance, and workforce strategy for an organization operating in highly regulated and fiduciary environments. She advises executive leadership on organizational design, regulatory alignment, and enterprise risk mitigation in support of the firm’s operational, legal, and ethical obligations.

York-Cornick leads the design and administration of multi-state human resources and payroll frameworks, ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws. Her scope includes executive employee relations, compensation governance, workforce planning, and the establishment of internal controls, policies, and documentation standards designed to withstand regulatory scrutiny and litigation risk.

She partners closely with executive leadership and legal counsel on sensitive matters, including investigations, accommodations, disciplinary actions, reductions in force, and separations, with a focus on consistency, documentation integrity, and defensibility. York-Cornick brings extensive experience advising organizations with complex operating structures and regulated workforces. She is a U.S. Navy veteran and holds an MBA in Human Resources. She maintains senior-level certifications including SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) and Employment Law Certified (ELC).

Anthony Treistman serves as Managing Partner at The Post Oak Group, where he leads the firm's mergers and acquisitions practice for middle-market transactions, providing both sell-side and buy-side advisory services and overseeing execution across strategic combinations and full-company exits.

Prior to joining The Post Oak Group, Treistman worked at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (KKR) in New York City as part of the North American Private Equity team. He also worked at Caspian Capital, a distressed-credit hedge fund focused on special situations and event-driven opportunities, and at Luminus Management, a long/short hedge fund based in Houston, where he developed experience in fundamental research, valuation, and public-market investment strategies.

Treistman graduated with Highest Honors from the University of Texas at Austin, earning a double major in Finance and Business Honors, and holds the Series 63 and Series 79 licenses.

Alex Treistman serves as Managing Partner at The Post Oak Group, where he leads the firm's capital markets advisory practice. Treistman works with founders, principals, and investors on private placements, growth financings, and strategic capital solutions across the middle market.

Earlier in his career, Treistman worked at Fayez Sarofim & Co., where he analyzed public securities within a value-investing framework, followed by a role at Amerapex Corporation, where he evaluated upstream oil and gas investment opportunities. He later worked at Levcor, a commercial retail and entertainment developer, evaluating project-level capital structures and the financing of high-traffic shopping centers and mixed-use assets. Treistman subsequently joined The Hanover Company, supporting large-scale multifamily development initiatives, capital structuring, and real-asset investment strategy. He also played a key role in a $100M+ capital raise for a prominent Milwaukee-based real estate developer, Vassallo, supporting investor materials, capital formation strategy, and institutional outreach.
